Young people in Wales must be given a stronger voice to support their rights, the children's commissioner has said.
Prof Sally Holland, who took up the post in April, said it was wrong for Wales to be the only nation in Europe without a dedicated youth parliament.
She said people in power should involve children in discussions about their rights and ask what they wanted.
The UK's four children's commissioners are submitting a joint annual report to the United Nations on Wednesday.
